So, how was the big plane ride from Atlanta to Guatamala City? Pretty big plane I’ll bet.
I thought about you all day today wondering what you were doing. I told my new sales guy from Wisconsin where you went. He has a little girl he adopted from Guatamala. He said you will truly make a difference in people’s lives while you are there. And I’m sure you will.

Make sure you paint lots of pretty nails, write in your journal, and take lots of pictures. I can’t wait to hear about your adventure.

    Love Daddy

    Hi baby,

I read Teresa’s Blog today and I have to openly admit it made me cry not because I was sad but because I can imagine how majestic it really was. It bet there were moments you had a hard time keeping your composure, but that’s okay because it only means you are opening your heart to God….something you do well!!!! Keep up the good work and please take care of yourself…..lots of water and sunscreen. If you can, be sure to capture these moments ie. pics, video, journal because you will want to reflect on them many times in your life. I love you with all my heart, mom oxoxoox

Hi Alivia~I hope you are loving Guatemala as much as I do. I have been on this same mission trip twice. I hope you have already experienced life changing moments. I’m proud of you for taking on this adventure at such a young age. It will change you in ways you never imagined. God bless you as you make memories that will last a lifetime. Love, Mrs. Rewers

  14. Dad says:

Hi Livy. How were your first two days? I checked out lots of pictures on-line today at lunch trying to see what you are probably seeing. The landscape around Gualamala City look absolutely beautiful. You must really be seeing some of God’s true artwork first hand in many ways. How have the little kids been? Was the candyfest fun? Did the kids like the candy?

Looking forward to some feedback from you. Hopefully you will get a minute to drop us a line or two. Everyone here misses you and can’t wait to hear all about your mission. Take lots of picture of the things you do and the people you meet.

Remember, everyday is a new adventure on God’s roadmap for your life. Make the most of it for Him! Especially this week!

I love and miss you pumpkin.

    Love Daddy.

SUP BRO!!!!?!?!??! fabio, its seriously unfathomable! the kids are the cutest thing uve ever seen in your life!. The kids loooooveeeeee candy!! A couple times we’ve drove in the villages now to get to our work site which is an hour and a half away, and NO LIE, the kids run after our vechicles yelling “DUCLES” which is candy in spanish. We had some kids that would actually jump on the step under the door in the passengers seat and hang on to the window just to get candy! They run after the car and everything!! when we through the candy out of the car to them, its like a bunch of lions fighting for one piece of meat!!!!! ITS LIKE THE DEATHLY FOURTH OF JULY PARADE OF CANDY!! anyways moving on, ive enjoyed myself soo much! I honestly feel like a new person, we dedicated our houses to our families today and i honestly broke down crying like caaarazy. i looked really dumb but who cares lol. i prayed so intense today and i felt like God was present in my prayers and telling me what to pray for and stuff! it was incredible! We prayed over our girl though out loud because after the sermon (when we asked them to accept Christ into their hearts) she was having doubts and didnt want to except him but then we prayed and prayed and balled and balled some more and then she finally did!! i sooo felt the power of God!! i cant even explain it! lol well got to go! im taking lots of pics and i cant wait to show u guysss!!!!! i love you and miss you too daddy!!! BYE!

Awww baby I’m sooooo happy to hear from you. I can hear the compassion of God’s love and excitement in your writing! It sounds like you have had numerous God moments and you’ve seen right before your eyes how almighty HE really is. It’s alright if you cry, crying is good! I know you will have so so much to share when you get back and I am really excited to hear all about it. Take care of yourself and try and take some quiet time (I know that is difficult for you, my burst of energy :0)) for journaling. I love you and I am soooo missing you. The kids say hi and that they love you.

P.S. Nolan is leaving Monday for Camp Geneva and he keeps asking if he is going to see you before he leaves…..he misses you! Hi Livy,

Glad to hear you are taking in all that God has planned for you on this adventure. I know there is a lot going on and you are probably pretty tired when you are done, but take a few minutew to write it all down. We want to hear ever detail. Continue taking lots of picture so we can see as much of your experience as we can.

So the kids are crazy for candy. Do you kind of feel like the Easter Bunny? Wow, if they are hanging off buses to get some, it must be a real treat. We are praying for you and the whole team.

I miss your humming around the house, dancing feet at night, the pile of clothes on your bathroom floor, your dirty dishes left in sink, and the “Dad, can I have some money to go to the mall?”. (Didn’t think I would ever say that.)

I’m really looking forward to seeing you on Tuesday and giving you a big ol’ hug! Serioiusly…. I love you my beautiful girl and I can’t wait to see you and hear how God has enriched your life!!!!!

  27. mom says:

    Hi my sweet baby girl,

You are weighing heavy on my heart today…..having many weepy moments. I know you are having the most amazing time and I’m thrilled you are there. The congregation prayed for you and the entire team at church today annd yes it was such an emotional moment for mom and dad…even Daddy cried. Pastor Steve spoke on the power of prayer and then we read Psalm 63….if you get a chance look it up…it’s a powerful verse! We sang “From the Rooftops I proclaim that I am yours” and all I could see was you and all the members of Life Stream Team standing amongst the Guatemalians and raising your voice in song and raising your arms with the utmost joy. I am certain there is nothing more amazing than that! You are so very blessed to be part of these life changing moments and I am so blessed to have a daughter who thirsts so much for the Lord and lives out each day by touching the lives of others…you are so very special. I love you sweetness with all my heart. Sorry I probably made you cry…..I guess apples don’t fall too far from the trees :0)

Thank you all for sharing little bits and pieces of your adventure. You have been such a blessing to all of us back in the states. Hi sunshine,
Your week is coming to a close and I can’t wait to hear about it! Chances are Daddy will pick you up from the airport, but don’t you worry because I will be anxiously waiting at home for your arrival. I hope you have a very fun and relaxing trip home and please make sure you can account for your phone & cord, camera & cord, glasses, and journal before leaving Guatemala. Is there anything you would like upon arriving home…..a bubble bath?, a giant fruit smoothie? a huge bowl of fresh fruit? a rootbeer float, banana split? or better yet, maybe just a nice soft bed with the air conditioning running. You name it and mom will try to get it for you. I love you precious!!! Looking forward to seeing how God has inspired you!
